happy, unfiltered moments capturing the joy and love in your life
I'm a Toronto-based wedding and lifestyle photographer. Obsessed with lattes, my dog, and having fun. I believe in silly dance moves, celebrating each moment in life, and that laughter makes everything better - as well as a good glass of wine
The moments that seem like they could last forever are gone in a flash and we’re left with only a memory.
AS THE DAYS, MONTHS, AND YEARS GO BY, YOU’LL HAVE THE MOST PRECIOUS MEMORIES CAPTURED TO LOOK BACK ON.

I love shooting with natural light so I usually request that sessions be booked early morning or late afternoon (roughly 1 hour after sunrise or 2 hours before sunset) to take advantage of the soft light that occurs during those times. With newborns or kids it's always best to schedule the session when they are usually happiest - say after a nap or meal.
Again, I love shooting with natural light so your session can be done outdoors (some ideas are at a park, in your backyard, your cottage, by the beach, sipping coffees on a patio, or walking your dog). I also love documenting you in your home where you would naturally be during this special time.
Nope, I prefer to take my photos in a natural setting with natural light to ensure a candid, lifestyle approach. This is how I approach newborn sessions as well. I prefer to come to your home and use your natural setting and props (i.e. blankets or toys).
If you'd prefer a studio space I'd be happy to share suggestions, there's tons of beautiful spaces all around the GTA.
I love to incorporate regular activities to keep the kids engaged without having to 'pose' for photos. If you regularly play with legos, board games, or puzzles we can incorporate that in your home or if they like playing soccer in the backyard, or any other sport, we can do that outside. And I'm all for taking breaks if needed so you don't feel rushed and pressured.
Sneak peek a couple days after your session and completed gallery to you within 2 to 3 weeks!
My number one tip: wear what you feel most comfortable in. Some clients dress up in their “Sunday best” while others gravitate towards casual looks. The key is to reflect who you are and what makes you feel great. It’s good to keep coordination in mind but you don’t need to match. In fact, the photos will be more dynamic if you don’t match. Don’t be afraid of mixing prints too. As long as there is one shared colour between the prints then you are good to go. Please stay away from: matching tops, large logos or graphics as they can draw away from you and can be distracting, anything that you can’t freely move in (you might be sitting so you want to be comfortable)
