These are the most beautiful pictures I've seen in my life! And I'm not just saying that because it's my wedding day, Laura, you've managed to capture real moments so well, the photos really take me back to the day and they make me re-live it over and over again..you've done a wonderful job and everyone that sees the pictures has commented on how beautiful the material is, magazine-worthy!
Also, everyone in my family and the bridal party commented how pleasant you were and how you were genuinely happy for us and made everyone feel really comfortable, so I can't thank you enough for bringing this great gift to the world and being the person you are, your passion shows and I can't wait to call you again, for our next adventure!
"These are the most beautiful pictures I've seen in my life!"
It was so nice to be able to re-live the day, especially because you captured it so well!! We can’t thank YOU enough for all your hard work, travelling around and patience with us and all of our goofy entourage.
You made everything work with the little time we had and certainly rolled with punches when we threw the unexpected at you. From a groom’s perspective especially, you made Meg feel at ease and I cannot thank you enough for that! We were both so appreciative of you and we’ll never forget all that you did for us! You were so easy to get along with and we don’t have a single complaint about anything!
"From a groom’s perspective especially, you made Meg feel at ease and I cannot thank you enough for that!"
From the moment I asked her to be my photographer, to the days leading up to my wedding (where I would frantically email her with a barrage of last minute requests and details), to just last week (where she is still being just as helpful), Laura's efficiency & expertise cease to amaze me.
My husband and I are not very fond of having our picture taken so we were both a bit anxious about the entire ordeal - but Laura made the entire process SO easy for us from start to finish. Laura's talents lie in making ANYONE feel comfortable with her and in front of the camera, and especially lie in her raw and truly talented eye for capturing beautifully colourful photographs. Going through our photographs of the day is truly reliving our wedding day over and over, and that is only because of Laura Clarke!

I cannot say enough amazing things about Laura. My fiancé and I are a little camera shy and we were both extremely nervous to have our picture taken. We had our engagement photos with Laura a couple of weeks ago and honestly it was SO much fun! She made us feel so comfortable and gave us great direction so we didn't feel like goof balls! It was like we were hanging out with a close friend for a couple of hours while they happened to also be taking our picture.
If you're looking for someone who has an eye for beautiful shots and will make the experience fun and easy going then I highly recommend Laura.

Wow Laura, thank you so much!!! These photos are incredible and they are taking us straight back to the wedding week. You were such a pleasure to work with and the feedback from everyone has been how friendly you were and how fantastic the photos are. We loved your grounding, sweet and easygoing presence. Thank you so much for being part of our wedding and for everything you did from lending me lipgloss on the way to the ceremony, to catching the sweetest photos of family members, to being such a trooper despite so many long events and unclear schedules. We really appreciate you and are so thrilled with your work.

I believe in surrounding yourself with vendors who feel like friends, and hopefully become lifelong! Our relationship isn't exclusive to 8 hours on your wedding day, it's a custom experience that is filled with fun, starting with our very first meeting.
I understand you are new to this process and will happily support you with timeline planning, location and styling suggestions, vendor suggestions, or even if you should have your dog attend your wedding (always a yes!) I work to build a relationship with you where you feel as though your good friend is taking your picture allowing you to enjoy every moment fully.
Wedding Photography is an investment. It's an acknowledgment that this is the one choice in all the planning that remains. That after the dance floor is empty, after you've rested your tired feet, after you've kissed each other goodnight, that it's your photos that bring you back to those emotions and wonderful moments.
I have a soft-spot for small weddings (I had a 30-person wedding myself) and I'm not surprised others do too.
I'm now offering custom pricing for intimate weddings of 70 guests or less for $750+hst per hour (minimum two hours).
Let's grab a coffee or cocktail and get to know each other. Tell me how you met, your fav moment together, or what you do for fun and I'll share all about me too.
We're practically soul-mates and you decide I'm the photographer of your dreams and I'm ecstatic to photograph your wedding. To secure your date, you sign the contract and send the 35% retainer
I'm here to help answer all your questions, from deciding on a first look to nixing traditions. Six weeks before your wedding I’ll send you a questionnaire that covers all the details for the day. We'll confirm timing and ensure nothing is left out.
The day has finally come! I'll be there every step of the way, laughing with you, capturing those stolen kisses, tearing it up on the dance-floor, and ensuring the moments that matter most are caught so you can fully relax and enjoy yourself.
My hope is that our friendship won't end here. Let's stay in touch and I can continue to support your marriage as you cross many big and small milestones. And if you ever need a latte/champagne/burrito buddy, just give me a call!
The day after your wedding I'll send a sneak peek with a glimpse into how amazing your wedding was - hopefully you look at it with leftover wedding cake and champagne.
Within 10 weeks of your wedding, you'll receive your completed gallery of edited images organized by key parts of the day.
Fun-fact, I hate surprises! The planner in me loves knowing what to expect so I'll do the same for you when it comes to working with me.
I'm a sucker for the vows! Full disclosure, I will probably cry at your wedding, especially during the vows. Whenever I hear my clients exchange them I turn to a total puddle. A close second would be when the ceremony has ended and my clients walk down the aisle, just married, with the happiest smile on their faces!
Sneak peek the day after your wedding - yes! the day after!! And completed gallery to you within 10 weeks!
Absolutely! Some favs outside of Toronto are Muskoka, Prince Edward County and the Ottawa Valley. For anything out-of-province, or requiring air travel, contact me for a custom quote.
Typically I book 6 to 14 months in advance - the earlier the better as I only take on a limited amount of weddings a year to provide my clients with the personalized experience they deserve. However, I have booked weddings less than 4 weeks before the wedding date so it's always worth checking if your date is available.
I hear you and you are not alone! But that’s why it’s important to build a friendship prior to your wedding. When you feel like you’re with a good friend, you’ll naturally relax and feel more comfortable. I also use an approach called ‘relaxed-portraiture’ where I’ll guide you into a pose. I love to let you interact with each other as you normally would but I’m also here to give direction and not leave you wondering where to put your hands! It’ll never be stiff or serious and my awkward puns and jokes will help lighten the mood.
Almost every wedding I photograph I do on my own - and have had no problem documenting weddings that range from 30 to 200 guests. Personally, having a second shooter can sometimes take away from our relationship if I need to continually stop and coordinate with them so my preference has always been to work on my own.
When deciding if you need a second shooter ask yourself: Do we have a tight timeline with multiple locations? Do we have more than 200 guests? Do I want all of my cocktail hour documented? If yes, then a second shooter is a great choice.
I require a signed contract and 35% retainer to secure your date.
Every image you receive will be colour-corrected and edited to ensure it's looking perfect! You can expect the same quality for your photos as you see in my portfolio and blog.
Yep! I'm no wallflower with dance-floors and have been known to start a few at weddings I've shot! I love to dance around with all your guests all while capturing hilarious candids - and if you want to guarantee I'm out there, just play Fireball by Pitbull!
Yes of course! Your photos are sent via an online sharing gallery so it's super easy to share. You are also given personal reproduction rights to make prints (which I highly encourage!) All I ask is that you don't crop or edit the photos in any way.
For an 8 hour wedding day you can expect around 700 photos. On average I shoot 100 photos per hour and you will receive almost all of them (I curate the most flattering, in-focus, best composition, eyes open, etc).
I wrote a blog post all about this, check it out here.
In a nut-shell, they're amazing for getting photos completed early on so you go right from vows to cocktails with friends but they aren't for everyone. (I didn't do one!)
While I've been known to eat baby food during wedding days (seriously don't knock it till you try it! It's quick, easy fuel and doesn't require a toothpick!) Yes, please feed me. Ideally I would eat in the same room as you so I don't miss anything and it'd be even better if we were served at the same time so I'm able to capture you when you're not eating.
