There’s a lot of fear and doubt that comes with doing something brave. Too often we stop short, take the easy way, or simply don’t jump for fear that we’ll fall. For fear that we’ll fail. But what if you never took the chance. Never jumped. How would you ever be able to fly?
It’s so easy when we’re younger to be brave. To jump off the highest rock or try something we’ve never done and not care that the outcome could hurt us. We are in the moment and we are excited to jump, excited to do something different. But as we age we become cautious, have doubts and worry. We know that not all risks will end well so we are safe with our choices and our hearts. It’s smart in some ways, that if you never risk it you’ll never get hurt. But there’s no reward without risks. There could be so many reasons to hold you back. To stop you from jumping but each time you think of those doubts you need to remember that something so good could also come from it and you’ll never know unless you jump.
I found this quote when I first started this business and it’s been a constant reminder each day. It comes up personally when I gravitate towards the negative and I’ve brought it up to my friends when they too might be too afraid to try something new. It’s a great reminder that good things come from being brave.
