Hey there!

Seeing as I posted a peak at some photos from our trip to Belize, I thought I’d share them fully on here. The Mr. and I spent some time researching and debating between a trip to Belize or Panama and in the end we chose Belize; specifically Placencia. It offered everything we were looking for – gorgeous beaches, hot climate, adventurous excursions and a laid-back vibe.

We took a six-seater propeller plane along the coast to the most southern point of Belize to get to Placencia. We chose a resort to take advantage of the unlimited food and drink and stayed at the Placencia Hotel. Our suite was located right on the beach – I mean literally on the beach! – with a  view of the pier over the water. The beach was incredibly well groomed with sunbeds and palm trees scattered throughout. Our days consisted of relaxing on the beach each morning and when we got thirsty we would head to the swim up pool bar to lounge in the gorgeous pool all day. Then we’d ride bikes into town to enjoy the food and party scene. Originally, we had intended on going snorkeling, zip-lining, and much more but succumbed to the beach and pool for most of the trip. It was the perfect place to unplug and fully relax.
