I love that aspects of my job involve capturing families as they grow and the various stages that life takes them. This is the case with Mahsa and Amir and their beautiful family. After photographing their baby shower, maternity session, and 1-month shoot for their baby girl Yas, it’s like I’m an unofficial family member (I just made that up). It was a blast to get my camera on them once again for when Yas turned one! She was all smiles and giggles as we took a stroll outside, then we let her just be a one-year-old and set her up with paper and pencils to let her creativity shine. Lastly, we ended the shoot with a birthday cake, which we let sweet Yas take the first bite. She was unsure what to do but quickly figured out that her fun-fetti cake was as delicious as it was pretty! I can’t wait to see this cutie grow up and what she gets into in this next year of her life!
